- Yes, I remember SWIV did, or was supposed to, it never actually got
- any further than the bootblock on my 3000... However, the Amiga is a
- multitasking machine, or it would be if some programmers didn't keep
- disabling that feature. In that respect, it should be possible to
- start a disk reading task at a low priority which won't interfere with
- the game, but if the game waits for the free time it has between
- frames then the loading task should have plenty of CPU attention to
- finish its business when needed.

- See above.

- Yes, and you could probably load ALL of raiden into a 1200. Twice.

- I love smooth, furious action games, Super Stardust is a favourite of
- mine, and No Second Prize is another. Now, I don't see any drawbacks
- to the game play of Super Stardust since I found a HD installer for
- it, and I would dearly love a HD installer for NSP, since the delays
- between races are very annoying (an animated sequence while the next
- set of data loads would at least be welcome.)
-
- If you really do think about what I said about transitions then you
- should see what I meant. Feel free to e-mail to discuss it further
- without using more bandwidth in this newsgroup.
